“Soul Flow”
“Your soul tells you when it's time to move on”. ~ Oprah Winfrey
What is “Soul Flow “you ask? Here’s how I describe it and live it…
“Soul Flow” is the state where your values and actions move in the same direction as your intuition.
“Soul flow” is the moment your inner wisdom and outer actions sync. It’s when you recognize what matters, release what doesn’t, and step into decisions with clarity instead of friction. Your energy stops scattering. Your effort starts creating momentum. You move with intention instead of reaction, and your deeper purpose fuels your daily choices. When you are in the flow your day fly’s by, you’re happier and serving with purpose in your life.
“Soul flow” isn’t mystical. It’s a practiced alignment with your gut brain, (intuition/inner voice/inner dialogue). It’s when your values, purpose, and behaviors run on the same current, your results accelerate and your life becomes more grounded, focused, and honest. You begin to live in deeper daily joy!
Others can believe that “life without souls may, in fact, be richer, kinder, and more deeply human: a soul-free society is a better, more mind-full world.”
I disagree.
Why “Soul Flow” Matters. When you operate in “soul flow”, you:
1. Decide faster because your direction is clear
2. Spend less energy battling conflicting priorities
3. Drop habits that drain your attention
4. Make room for meaningful, aligned action
5. Feel grounded while still growing your intuition and listening to that inner voice that divinely guides you
“Soul flow helps you lead your life fully intentional and from love instead of managing continued daily chaos.”
~ Jessica Hartwig
Basic Suggestions. Let’s Start New Habits! You can strengthen “soul flow” with conscious intention to create your future. Below are some basic tips which my clients and I share:
1. Choose One Aligned Action Each Morning
Ask yourself: What is the one action today that supports the life I’m building, not the life I’m leaving? Completing this first gives your day direction. (Maybe make this your daily ritual while in the shower). We consciously create our future.
2. Limit Internal Friction
Track the moments in your day where you feel resistance. Friction usually signals misalignment, poor boundaries, or unclear priorities. Breath. Pause. Reflect. Address friction instead of powering through it.
3. Protect Energy, Not Just Time
“Soul flow” increases when you direct your best energy within the day to your highest values. Time blocking helps, and energy blocking builds consistency. Something to consider… When should you work on certain tasks? How might you switch around your routine to fit your daily and weekly schedule to achieve your absolute best flow!?!!!
4. Use Your “Values Filter”
Before committing, pause. Ask: Does this align with my values or am I doing it out of pressure or habit? Aligned choices build your “in the flow” aligned life of living in conscious joy! Yes. Yes, it does.
As an example: When has an “aligned choice” worked for you in the past?
5. Cultivate Gratitude. Gratitude sharpens your awareness. When you name what’s working, you train your mind to look for stability, progress, and connection instead of spiraling toward what’s missing. Today and every day, take inventory of (at least) three things that support your feeling of gratitude. Big or small… You’ll notice how quickly gratitude becomes momentum.
Clarity isn’t found. It’s created through consistent inner honesty. The inner voice is honest. Your inner knowing is higher wisdom. Listen. What will happen in your life if you intentionally listen more often to it? What if you ask for this higher level of consciousness? You can become a bigger, free-er you! What if you applied new intentions to hear your own inner wisdom?
Exercises You Might Apply
Exercise 1: Values-to-Actions Map
1. Write down your top three values.
2. For each value, list two aligned behaviors you can integrate this week.
3. Identify one behavior to release because it contradicts your values. This builds clarity and reinforces integrity-driven action.
Exercise 2: “Soul Flow” Journal Prompt
At the end of each day, reflect on these questions that accelerate reflection, awareness and behavioral change.
1. Where did I feel flow today?
2. Where did I force energy?
3. What alignment shift will move me forward tomorrow?
4. What was my happiest moment of the day?
Exercise 3: The 90 Second Reset ~ “Practice the Pause”
When you feel off track: Pause for 90 seconds ~ Take slow intentional breaths ~ Ask, What matters most right now? ~ Choose your aligned next step. This simple 90 second reset keeps your action, replies and attitude. It can also keep your day from drifting, and this pause can bring you back into your personal alignment.

“Soul flow” doesn’t happen by accident. You build it through intention, reflection, and courageous alignment. When your values, purpose, and actions run on the same current, you step into a life that feels true, grounded, and forward moving every day.
“The values that drive you every day build a magical life filled with harmony and of conscious joy.”
